Todyl Raises Additional $2.25 Million in Funding and Opens Headquarters in Denver

June 23, 2020

DENVER, CO., June 23rd, 2020 – Todyl, a leader in providing comprehensive security, networking and compliance for today's distributed workforce, announced the addition of $2.25 million in funding. The seed round included investments from TechOperators and Blu Venture Investors. In addition, Said Mohammadioun, Managing Partner at TechOperators, has joined the Todyl board.

The additional capital will support the development and expansion of the company’s Secure Global Network (SGNTM), a purpose-built security and networking platform for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that consolidates multiple point solutions, increases security and improves business efficiency for the distributed small-to-medium business (SMB). This is especially important in today’s remote-first environment when secure connectivity and optimal performance is business-critical. The funds will also help the company expand its market presence, including immediately hiring new team members for its new Colorado office in Denver.

"Todyl's solution brings Secure Access Service Edge Connect (SASE) to MSPs empowering them to deliver comprehensive networking, security and services to their customers," said Daniel Ingevaldson, Vice President at TechOperators. "With the dramatic growth in remote workers, its ZeroTrust Secure Global Network platform enables partners to isolate devices, protecting against compromised devices on untrusted networks—allowing employees to work anywhere with confidence and high performance."

The SGN is a distributed, high-performance, secure network with Points of Presence (PoPs) located in data centers across the globe. These PoPs create a closed-loop network for the SMB, securely connecting devices, clouds, and offices together on a Zero Trust, cloud native platform with integrated network security and SIEM.

"Todyl solved the network visibility problem for our clients with a distributed workforce. We now have a solution for SMBs that provides Network-Based Endpoint and Detection Response, Logging and Forensics regardless of where on the internet the endpoint is," said Raffi Jamgotchian, President and CTO of Triada Networks. "These are normally things you have to apply at a choke point like a firewall or other egress filter. Todyl allows us to bypass that and provide security and performance with a single point of control."

The SGN features multiple layers of enterprise-grade protection to identify and block threats, along with a Zero Trust network design to secure internal traffic and prevent the spread of malware and other attacks.
