John Nellen brings 20 years of cybersecurity and technology experience to his role as Founder and CEO of Todyl. Prior to founding the company in 2015, he spent nearly 8 years as Senior Director of Engineering & Technology and Head of Information Security at Next Jump, where he managed security programs for a company serving over 70% of the Fortune 1000. While at Next Jump, he realized end-to-end security programs need a unified approach, not a maze of tools and vendors. That insight led him to start Todyl. Under his leadership, Todyl has raised $85M in funding, grown to 150+ employees across 4 offices, and achieved Inc. 5000 recognition (#8 in Security, #5 in Colorado) while protecting over 10,000 businesses globally.
