G2 closed its Fall 2026 reports on August 25. Todyl Security Platform finished first in twelve of them, across three categories: Security Information and Event Management, Cloud Edge Security, and Cloud Access Security Broker.
G2 ranks on verified user reviews. In these categories, the reviewers run security for someone else: IT services and network security firms are more than 90 percent of Todyl reviewers. When an MSP owner builds a SIEM or SASE shortlist, these reports are the second thing they open, right after a peer recommendation.
Here is how the season broke down.
SIEM carried the season: six of the twelve first-place finishes came from this one category.
The headline is the Small-Business Grid Report, where Todyl finished first of 24 vendors. The other five are index reports, which drop market presence and score satisfaction on its own:
“By having a SIEM across all clients, we can see all security events in real time and truly be proactive,” says Nahjee M., Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business
If these results have you weighing SIEM for your own clients, our guide to what SIEM is and how it works covers the components, and the managed SIEM page covers delivery.
Cloud Edge Security added five more first-place finishes. Todyl took the Small-Business Grid Report first of six products and the Momentum Grid Report first of 17, picking up Momentum Leader. It swept the Relationship, Results, and Usability indexes for Best Relationship, Best Results, and Best Usability. Seven reports, six badges.
In the adjacent Secure Access Service Edge category Todyl placed second of six, which is notable against the size and funding of the other players there.
“I like Todyl because it simplifies what’s usually a fragmented approach to security and networking. Instead of juggling multiple tools, it brings everything into a single platform that’s easier to manage and scale,” says a verified user in computer and network security, Small-Business
Cloud Access Security Broker was new ground this cycle, placing in five reports and earning six badges in our first appearance. The Relationship Index put Todyl first of 19, and that one finish carried Best Relationship, Best Support, and Easiest To Do Business With.
“Support is one of the best I have seen. Great software is worthless if you don’t have a support team that’s there when you need them. The dedicated Slack channel gives us access to resources 24x7,” says Bob M., MSP owner
Across the season Todyl appeared in 125 Fall 2026 reports across 15 categories and walked away with 46 badges from 44 of them:
The other 17 came from index reports, which score a single dimension and leave market presence out of the calculation:
That last group is the one worth reading closely. Grid placement rewards review volume and market presence alongside satisfaction. Index reports strip market presence out and score the experience on its own. First place in the Relationship Index against 41 products means customers of 41 other vendors rated Todyl higher on support quality, ease of doing business, and likelihood to recommend.
Both come from Grid Reports, which plot products on customer satisfaction and market presence. Leader requires high scores on both axes. High Performer means high satisfaction with smaller market presence, common for products that serve one segment well.
The Relationship Index scores three things pulled from verified reviews: quality of support, ease of doing business with, and likelihood to recommend. It excludes market presence, so a smaller vendor can outrank a much larger one.
Seasonal reports freeze on a publication date while category pages recalculate as new reviews arrive. Every figure here comes from the frozen Fall 2026 reports, finalized August 25. The live category pages will differ, sometimes in Todyl's favor and sometimes not.
